What We Offer

    What You'll Do:
    • Oversee the patient flow and services for various functions, including reception, patient scheduling, referrals, medical records, patient benefits, patient registration, patient billing, and credit management.
    • Partner with the Clinic Director, Clinic Nurse Supervisor, and other clinic leaders to ensure the smooth function of all patient-related activities.
    • Develop, implement, and manage a process of continuous improvement for the administrative support systems.
    • Enhance operational effectiveness, with a focus on cost containment and high-quality patient services.
    • Resolve operations and process problems and keep the lines of communication open with staff and supervisors to ensure high productivity.
    • Formulate and implement policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with the standards and requirements of the organization and various regulatory agencies.
    • Ensure the clinic operations are in compliance with governmental regulations and industry requirements.
    • Represent the clinic in interactions with regulatory agencies, insurance carriers, and other professional and community groups.
    • Partner with the Clinic Director in maintaining position community relations and serves as a liaison with staff and the public.
    • Participate in forecasting and preparing the annual budget.
    • Coach, mentor, and train direct report staff. Provides continuous performance management and conducts employee performance evaluations. Addresses performance and/or behavior issues, clarifying expectations and providing feedback.
    • Support staff growth and development. Assess the educational and experience needs of all levels of staff in collaboration with the individual. Encourage staff to seek educational opportunities incorporating job-related training in addition to mandatory training.
    • Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff. Provides orientation to outline job requirements and expectations, policies and procedures, and proper use of tools and equipment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Health Administration, Healthcare, Public Health, or Business Administration
      • Three years' administrative experience in a medical office, including one year's experience managing employees, is required. Relevant experience outside the medical field may be considered.

        Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
        • Expertise in fiscal management, government regulations, and medical office operations.
        • Skills in continuous process improvement, problem-solving, and sound judgment.
        • Effective communication, strong analytical abilities, and decision-making skills.
        • Ability to manage multiple tasks, exercise independent judgment, and lead effectively.
        • Basic proficiency with computer programs like Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and EPIC.
